If a person thinks of becoming something with hard work and dedication, then he will achieve that thing. Today I am sharing my success story with everyone.
I was born on 05.03.1986 in Ghagge, a small village in Tarn Taran district of Punjab. My father’s name is S. Swaran Singh and mother’s name is Mrs. Kulwant Kaur. There was no tradition of teaching girls in our village and my two sisters, being more of a parent, thought of educating us was an even more difficult task.
However, due to my father’s decision to send us to school to read and write in opposition to society, I was able to write my story in front of him. Not only were we opposed to teaching but the situation was such that it was difficult for a father of three to raise a family as well as to spend on education.
Thanks to my father’s encouragement, I am the first girl from my village to graduate. After me, the way of education was opened for other girls as well.
Today I am working as a Vocational Mistress at Government Senior Secondary School Dera Sahib (Tarn Taran). Today I am a successful person in my life but I have come a long way to reach this stage.
To share my story, I would like to say that if a person tries to reach a destination with true dedication and hard work, he or she can definitely reach his destination.
