Due to lack of beds and oxygen, Sh.Manpreet Badal visited government and private hospitals.
Punjab Finance Minister Mr. Manpreet Singh Badal today visited Aadesh Hospital Bhucho, Aruna Hospital, Indrani Hospital, Delhi Heart Hospital, Global Healthcare, Badial Hospital and Civil Hospital Bathinda.
The Deputy Commissioner Bathinda was also present on the occasion. The Finance Minister held a meeting with the hospital management and doctors and reviewed the facilities available at Level One, Level Two and Level Three.
He also inquired about the availability of oxygen, ventilators and vaccines. The Finance Minister assured all possible assistance from the Punjab Government in this difficult time. He also thanked the doctors, para medical staff who are working overtime.
He also met the family members of the Covid patients undergoing treatment here and encouraged them. “Now we need to fully implement the restrictions imposed by the government. The growing number of patients is a matter of concern. The government will not allow shortage of beds and oxygen in the hospitals,” he said.
