The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Tuesday announced that Bhagwant Mann would be the party’s Chief Minister (CM) candidate in the Punjab Assembly elections 2022. Mann assured the people that if AAP came to power, they would work for the welfare of the people.
“Today is a historic day,” Kejriwal said. The Aam Aadmi Party had sought public opinion on the Chief Ministerial candidate till 5 pm on January 17. AAP claims that more than 20 lakh
peoples have sent their views to make AAP the Chief Ministerial candidate in Punjab.
“Our main goal is to make Punjabis prosperous by getting them out of difficulties and crises”
After being declared the CM candidate yesterday, Bhagwant Mann addressed the media with emotion. Mann said that Punjab knows how to stand on its own feet.
Punjab fell many times due to invaders, then British, then corrupt and opportunistic leaders but Punjabis never lost heart and Punjab stood up again and again and reached the heights. Today again Punjab is facing many challenges but our main objective is to make Punjab and Punjabis prosperous by getting them out of difficulties and crises.
